Let us convince you of our products, our many years of experience and our excellent customer service.
Alcohol-based fluxes have a very wide range of applications. The fluxes have very good soldering properties, in particular with the step-through and the wetting of the circuit board. The process window is very wide, with high thermal stability and good process activity over a long time interval. The residue behavior is also very good, the circuit boards are very clean after the soldering process.

As a sustainability-minded company we have taken this into ac- count. As a result we have broadened our development efforts and concentrated on the development and production of ecological fluxing agents. Our focus was not just on a sustainable end product, but also on environmentally sound production and simplified transportation. Our Green Line products are water-based, non-flammable and thus significantly less hazardous then alcohol based fluxes. The products are VOS-free. Consequently, they are not classed as hazardous goods and do not harm the environment. Green Line products are not dangerous, do not contain hazardous substances and can therefore be transported, handled and stored in the normal way. Simple, conventional storage represents a significant benefit to our customers. The products of the Green Line series contain fluxing agents for wave soldering. All fluxing agents can be used with the production systems currently on the market. The soldering results correspond to those achieved using alcohol based fluxing agents. There is therefore no reason for you not to make the transition to ecological, water-based fluxing agents. We are happy to help you find the right product for you eco- friendly and sustainable production.

These fluxes have a very wide range of applications, with very good soldering properties, in particular with the step-through and the wetting of the circuit board. The process window is very wide, with high thermal stability. After the application of the flux, the circuit boards are visually clean.
Read More Download BrochureThe flux pastes are paste-like electronic soldering fluxes. The pastes can be used for all kinds of manual- and repair soldering. The method of application is dependent on the process. With manual soldering the paste can be dispensed directly with the syringe. Furthermore, the flux paste is suitable for dip tinning as well as special applications. The flux paste can be processed using a hot air- and soldering iron, but also with a soldering tip.

All pens are filled with fluxing agents that have very good wettability and evaporation qualities as well as outstanding soldering properties and a wide process window. The fluxes have a low solid content. Flux-metering are safe to transport and store, also in winter, and offer the user a wide range of possible applications.
All fluxes of the EO-B-Multiflux series can also be offered in a dosing pen.
Read MoreTAs a developer and producer of fluxing agents for electronics production, we also offer a wide range of fluxes for cable manufacturing and strand tinning. The objective with the use of a flux is a uniform good tinning with solders containing lead or those that are lead-free. The tinning must thereby be able to be controlled, so that only a defined length of the strand is tinned. The possibly existing flux residues must not have any effect whatsoever on the subsequent application of the end product, for example due to corrosion or due to a low electrical surface resistance (SIR). Furthermore, it is important that the flux applied does not penetrate into the cable- and strand sheathing, as otherwise the strands and wires could corrode. In this case, the sheathing of the cable may also be damaged.
The fluxes must thereby satisfy the temperature requirements of the respective process. If the solder bath is operated at higher temperatures, the fluxing agent must remain active. This is particularly important, when the strand sheaths are “burned off” in the soldering process
All fluxes of the EO-B-Multiflux series can also be used for cable manufacture.
Read MoreFlux gels are often used for repair work on assembled circuit boards. In the past, fluxes for hand and repair soldering often contained other activators traditionally used for series production. We developed new flux gels based on standardized activators found in existing electronic fluxes. We are therefore the only manufacturer to offer products (from flux concentrate to finished flux to flux gel) based on uniform activators.
Each gel has a high concentration and offers high activity as well as good wetting and spreading properties. Due to these properties the gel paste should be applied sparingly. It is applied from a dosing syringe with a teflon needle. This enables an exact application or positioning of the flux. Contaminated pads and component pins are also activated by the gel. No crystals are formed and the solder pastes remain homogeneous and stable. After soldering, the gels do not leave any sticky residues.
The flux gels are excellent if the customer requires the same flux activator for different processes. In this case the customer can rely on one supplier. Uniform activators avoid cross-reactions that can occur when using different activators from different manufacturers. .
Read MoreAll solar fluxes have been developed for the soldering of solar modules, tabber- and stringer material, as well as the connecting of cells. Furthermore, the products are NO-CLEAN fluxes, which are formulated halogen-free. All fluxes leave no sticky residues behind. This has been verified in process tests with well-known mechanical engineers from the stringer technology sector. In addition, the activators are designed specifically for high temperatures, which are required during the manufacture of solar modules, without the efficiency of the activators thereby being affected. This also applies for the actual application in particularly hot and sunny regions.
Read MoreThe flux concentrates from Emil Otto are of particular interest to customers who require large quantities of flux or manufacture abroad. All granulates can be transported without hazardous substance identification and with a significantly reduction in size.
A flux becomes a hazardous substance if it contains alcohol, among other things. The flux concentrates are free of this as the customer mixes the alcohol or the alcohol-water mixture on site. The mixing of the flux is very simple, because each concentrate contains the necessary information, which liquid has to be added to the concentrate and in which dosage.
The granulate quantities are sufficient for 10 or 20 liters.
Furthermore, the granulates can be packed more easily and with less volume, which also reduces transportation costs. Due to this transport optimizations the flux concentrates can be transported economically over long distances, as freight carriers charge very low costs for non-hazardous goods.
The concentrates include fluxes for wave and selective soldering as well as manual and dip soldering.
