Kapton Tape
Kapton Tape is a polyimide-based high-temperature adhesive tape engineered for use in demanding electronic and industrial applications. It provides exceptional thermal stability, electrical insulation, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for soldering, PCB wave solder masking, and reflow operations.
The tape can withstand continuous exposure to temperatures up to 260°C (500°F) without curling, shrinking, or leaving adhesive residue. Its silicone adhesive backing ensures strong adhesion while allowing easy removal after use, leaving surfaces clean and protected.
Kapton Tape is compatible with both manual and automated masking applications and is available in a variety of widths and roll lengths. It’s widely used in electronics assembly, transformer insulation, and aerospace applications where performance and reliability are critical.
